How to Take Action

Become a volunteer

Volunteering is a selfless act that allows individuals to give back to their community and make a positive impact on the lives of others. By becoming a volunteer with URI , you have the opportunity to gain new skills, meet new people and make a difference in the communities we are involved in. We belive that volunteering with us offers enormous opportunities.

Apply for Membership (CC)

URI-GL has both group and individual membership. Group membership is composed of coalitions commonly known as Cooperation Circles (CCs). Individual memberships are nonvoting members though and are such people of societal integrity who have the values and aspirations of URI at heart. The CCs comprise of people from different religious backgrounds, spiritual expressions and indigenous traditions who uphold the virtue of nonviolence, the respect for lives and the need for peace in their communities
Cooperation Circles range in size from a minimum of seven members to tens of thousands, representing at least three faiths or spiritual expressions and indigenous traditions that subscribe to the shared vision outlined in the URI’s Charter.
On the other hand, individual membership has individuals that support and uphold the values of URI as expressed in the preamble, purpose and principles of URI.
These offer expertise, project cooperation, interfaith excellence, wisdom and other contributions but may not necessarily be active in Cooperation Circles.

Participate in a Program

Parcticipate in any of the many youth programs and projects that we have, Have fun learning and exploring new ways to connect with your community and neighbors while driving change in the lives of the marginalised groups.

Donate To URI

URI accepts donations and gifts from anyone as long as they are in line with our mission, All donations are made to our official donation channels. Want to donate, please reach us out at our offices or call us to find out what the right processes are

You good at social media, become part of our ever increasing team of social media influencers that help drive change through use of social media. Becomming part of our Team not only provides the opprotunity to know about what we do but also help you become a pillar in driving change in communities

Donations & Partnerships

You are warmly invited to participate in the life of URI and become part of this extraordinary force for peace and justice around the world. with your donations and partnership we can create a better world together,

URI Great Lakes only solicits and accepts donations that are consistent with our mission.
2. Donations will generally be accepted from individuals, partnerships, corporations,
foundations, government agencies, or other entities, without limitations.
3. In the course of its regular fundraising activities, we will accept donations
of money, real property, personal property, stock, and in-kind services.
4. Certain types of gifts must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special liabilities they
may pose for URI.
